CHINE, FIN DE LA DYNASTIE MING (1368-1644)
The figure is cast in a seated position with his hands clasped together in front of his chest. He is wearing a flowing robe that falls to the top of his ruyi-toed shoes. The borders are variously incised with floral scroll. He wears a high ribbed headdress secured by a hairpin, his face with a serene expression; traces of lacquer.
