極具吸引力的 Richard Lange Jumping Seconds於2016年在 SIHH上亮相。跳秒裝置的起源可追溯至1867年，當時費爾迪南多‧阿道夫‧朗格（Ferdinand Adolph Lange）開發了跳秒機芯。十年後的1877年，朗格憑這項發明獲當時新成立的帝國專利局（Imperial Patent Office）頒發專利。
