Tasting note: Fine nose of high-toned aromas, waxy, dried peaches and molasses. Fine soft gently sweet taste with higher notes. All leather, dried banana in a rounded pleasant texture, suave, creamy. Very good old Madeira. In a richer Malmsey style, could also be a rich long cask aged Tinta Negra. Good wine. 93 points. September 2023. EV.
