This highly rare timepeice is signed Asprey on the dial that is furthermore replicated on the caseback with '6⁄25', signifying it is the sixth example from the limited series. This particular piece evokes particulary British aesthetics with its purple dial, the color of the Royalty and England being the home of Asprey.

The history behind the two legendary brands, that being Rolex and Asprey go back to the 1970s when the then-official retailer of Rolex in England began creating customized watches for exclusive clients, most notably the Royalty of Oman. Today, these vintage watches featuring Omani Khanjars and His Majesty Qaboos bin Said al Said signatures on the dials have become some of the rarest and most collectible watches in the world.
