Famed portrait photograph taken during the height of his Hall of Fame career has been signed, "To Jimmy, May you be the inspiration your Dad has proven himself to be - Sincerely Lou Gehrig." Bold fountain pen autograph and inscription are graded "Mint 9" by PSA. "George Burke" stamp applied to lower back corner by the famed photographer. Wear is largely confined to the borders which show mild creasing, wrinkles, and there are unobtrusive tape remnants in two places at the top. A few flaws encroach into the image portion having minimal effect and there are a pair of small tack holes at top and bottom. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA as "Type I": Sig.
