The handles with panels of husks and scrolls, the terminals applied to both sides with a coat-of-arms below a count's coronet within a cartouche, comprising:
Eighteen table spoons
Eighteen soup spoons
Eighteen dessert spoons, gilt
Eighteen teaspoons, gilt
Seventy-two dinner forks
Seventeen luncheon forks
Eighteen dessert forks, gilt
Seventeen fish forks
Seventy-two dinner knives
Eighteen fish knives
Eighteen cheese knives, gilt handles
Eighteen dessert knives, gilt
A two-piece salad serving set, gilt
Two serving spoons
Two serving forks
An asparagus server
Two sauce ladles
A berry spoon, gilt
A cheese server, gilt handle
A master butter knife, gilt
In an original fitted wood chest;
Together with two salt spoons, Louveciennes pattern, applied with the same coat of arms, mark of Odiot, Paris, with rabbit head small guarantee, 1819-1838, and Mercury head export mark post 1878
493 oz. 6 dwt. (15,497 gr.) weighable silver
The arms are those of Sala for Count Antoine Sala (1876-1946) and his wife Laura Kayser (1874-1961), whom he married in 1933.
