Located on the northwest side of Chiba Prefecture, the coast of Nobota was renowned for shellfish gathering. The wind is calm, and the tide is low, with men and women digging for shellfish under two shrine gates. In the distance, Mount Fuji is framed in the corner of a large shrine gate. The slope of the mountain and the supporting beams of the shrine gates distinctively parallel each other, in a harmonious composition.
