stamped with signature 'Degas' (Lugt 658; on the side of the base); stamped with foundry mark and numbered '54/I CIRE PERDUE A.A. HÉBRARD' (on the front of the base)
bronze with reddish-brown patina
Height: 18 in. (45.8 cm.)
Conceived circa 1890s-1911; this bronze cast at a later date in an edition numbered A to T, plus two casts reserved for the Degas heirs and the founder Hébrard marked HER.D and HER, respectively
