The arms are those of Spencer accolé with Poyntz quartering another in pretence for Frederick, 4th Earl Spencer (1798-1857) and his wife Elizabeth Georgiana(d.1851), daughter and co-heir of William Stephen Poyntz, whom he married in 1830
