With fullered single-edged blade, brass hilt with small down-curved shell cast with a bear beset by hounds, deer's hoof quillons issuing from hound-heads, eagle-head pommel, and natural staghorn grip, in brass-mounted leather scabbard with horn-hilted by-knife (probably associated)
