Warre--Vintage 1970 Tasting note: Pristine purple now easing a little, starting to mature; lovely fruit, fragrance and viniosity. My notes range from medium-sweet to very sweet but, as so often, this depends on the context in which the wine is tasted and drunk. Let's settle for sweet, full-bodied, rich, almost too rich, yet not overpowering, with the perfect weight and balance I expect from Warre at its best. M.B. See also lot 515
