The Tianminlou Collection

This Autumn, Christie’s Hong Kong proudly presents The Tianminlou Collection. The auction is comprised of 15 iconic pieces from the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, all widely published and exhibited, from one of the most esteemed collections of Chinese porcelain in the world. Scrupulously amassed by the father and son for decades since the 1970s, the Tianminlou Collection has been displayed at multiple prominent museums and art institutions, including the Shanghai Museum, the Hong Kong Museum of Art, and the Chang Foundation in Taipei. Presenting an extraordinary opportunity for collectors, the sale will mark the first time multiple major pieces from the collection will be offered on the market, notably fine Yuan blue and white porcelain, which are exceptionally rare and highly sought after by connoisseurs.
