The live auction of Arms and Armour from the Mougins Museum of Classical Art, Part II will take place in New York on 8 October. This is the second armoury sale from the Mougins Museum of Classical Art, founded by Christian Levett, which is the largest and most prestigious collection of ancient arms and armour in private hands. The sale encompasses 46 lots, including helmets, shields and panoplies representing every period of Greek and Roman history, as well as vases, sculptures and reliefs illustrating how this armour was worn and used in antiquity.
