Christie’s Hong Kong is honoured to present the second installment of Asia+/First Open – the collaboration of a truly global platform.
Asia+/First Open offers an exciting selection of over 130 works that explore the intrinsic connection between art and life. From works on paper to sculptures and installations, the sale will present a comprehensive view of the depth and breadth of Eastern and Western art to new and seasoned collectors alike.
The sale features a carefully curated selection of important works by established contemporary artists Yoshitomo Nara, Yayoi Kusama, MR. and I Nyoman Masriadi, as well 20th century figures such as Gutai masters Kazuo Shiraga and Sadamasa Motonaga, Zao Wou-ki, Walasse Ting and T’ang Haywen. This stunning array is complemented with works by Western contemporary artists such as Anish Kapoor, Damien Hirst; Pop artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Indiana; and urban artists such as KAWS and Invader.
