Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art

Our King Street sale will present 200 lots to celebrate Asian Art week in this fall season, featuring a broad range of categories including ceramics, such as a magnificent and very rare Qianlong mark and period (1736 - 1795) famille rose-enamelled ‘bats’ vase, classical and modern paintings, such as Waterfall by Fu Baoshi (1904-1965), and furniture such as a rare and large 17ath Century Huanghuali square table.
 
This sale also showcases a fine selection of Buddhist Art pieces, highlighted by a Sui Dynasty (581 - 618) gilt-bronze figure of Sakyamuni, and a rare imperial yellow silk damask panel of Avalokitesvara dating to the Yongle period (1403 – 1424).
