This Summer Season in London, Christie’s Post-War to Present Online presents a selection of works by international contemporary artists and twentieth century masters.

The sale includes celebrated contemporary artists including David Hockney, Marina Abramović, Cindy Sherman and Stanley Whitney, alongside rising names such as Somaya Critchlow, Leonard Baby and Olivia Sterling.

Leading the sale are a powerful painting by Sterling Ruby and one of Sol LeWitt’s most renowned photographic works. Further highlights include established names such as Marc Quinn, Raqib Shaw and Nathalie du Pasquier, alongside a strong group of Pop Art works by Tom Wesselmann, Richard Pettibone and Richard Phillips.

The sale also features an exceptional photographic selection by acclaimed artists including Shirin Neshat, Nan Goldin, William Eggleston and Thomas Struth. Christie’s is also pleased to present works from distinguished private collections, including Where the Soul Finds Form: The Giuseppe Iannaccone Collection and Works from the Silvie Fleming Collection.

Bidding is open from 18 June to 2 July. Select highlights from the auction will be on view at Christie’s galleries on King Street from 18 to 24 June, and all works may be viewed by appointment.

Filippo Maria Galbiati

Junior Specialist, Head of Online Sales | Post-War & Contemporary Art

Filippo is a Junior Specialist in the Post-War & Contemporary Art department in London. He joined Christie’s in 2019 as a Graduate Intern in the Impressionist & Modern Art department, before moving into a Sales Associate and Client Liaison role supporting the then Vice-Chairman, 20th & 21st Century Art, and later Chairman, Europe. In that position, he played a key role in client development while providing high-level administrative and strategic support. Since joining the department in 2025, Filippo has contributed to the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sales, working in close collaboration with colleagues globally, particularly in Italy. Filippo holds a law degree from the Università degli Studi di Milano and an MA, History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
