Fine and Rare Wines Featuring an Esteemed Connoisseur's Private Collection Part II

Sale Overview
Christie’s Wine Department are thrilled to be offering Part II of an Esteemed Connoisseur's Private Collection (Lots 306 to 639); a continuation of a collection that was first featured in the 21/22 March 2014 sale.
In the 21 March 2015 sale, the collection has a particular focus on outstanding Burgundy with a wide selection of vintages both for enjoyment now and for longer-term cellaring; from the famous names such as DRC to the lesser known ‘unsung heroes’ - ones to watch out for in the future. The single-owner collection concludes with a large offering of Giusto di Notri, Redigaffi and Syrah from Tuscany’s Tua Rita that are offered with no reserve.
Also featured is a very rare collection of 57 bottles of the world famous Pétrus starting with the 1950 vintage through to 2009, a collection of very rare and mature fine wines from a restaurant in Japan and multiple cases of Classed Growth Bordeaux from the stellar 2009 & 2010 vintages completes the highlights of the sale.
