The Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale in New York offers a curated selection of paintings and sculptures by the leading international artists of the late 19th and 20th centuries. 

The Day sale is led by Birth of the Modern: The Arnold and Joan Saltzman Collection. It features a stunning portrait of Jean Metzinger by Robert Delaunay and its pendent, Metzinger’s portrait of Delaunay, first exhibited together at the Salon d’automne in 1906. Led by a colourful landscape by Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, the collection regroups masterpieces of the international avant-garde, from neo-Impressionism through Cubism to classic modernism.

Margaux is an Associate Vice President, Specialist and Head of the Day and Works on Paper sales for the Impressionist and Modern Art Department in New York. In addition to running the Day and Works on Paper sales, Margaux supports the department's business-getting efforts and international sales. Prior to her current role, Margaux oversaw the department's eCommerce platform with its market-leading Picasso Ceramics Online Sales, as well as researching and cataloguing the works in the Evening Sale, including The Story of Impressionism: The Cox Collection, The Anne H. Bass Collection, and most recently, the Paul G. Allen Collection. Margaux started at Christie's in 2016; she earned her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University, with a combined major in Art History and Visual Arts, and a concentration in Spanish.
