This October, Christie’s is delighted to hold their twice-annual Modern British Art Day sale, showcasing the breadth and diversity of British art in the 20th century.
The sale will include a dynamic selection of works by St Ives artists Barbara Hepworth, Ben Nicholson, Terry Frost and Peter Lanyon, as well as a notable group of paintings by Scottish Colourists S.J. Peploe and J.D. Fergusson. Alongside, a range of sculptors will be represented, including Lynn Chadwick, Henry Moore, Barry Flanagan and Emily Young. Bringing together pictures and sculpture spanning the century, the sale will offer a wide range of works for all collecting tastes.
