Leading the auctions is Frank Auerbach’s Christmas Tree at Mornington Crescent, notable for its scale, vibrancy and evocative sense of place. Discover seminal works by Lynn Chadwick, including Back to Venice, Barbara Hepworth’s Curved Form and Bridget Riley’s Recollection.
The evolution of 20th century British and Irish art is traced through standout paintings by Glyn Philpot, L.S. Lowry and Sir Winston Churchill, with an impressive range of sculptures by Henry Moore, Emily Young and Barry Flanagan.
