Christie's is pleased to present globally recognised speakers for a discussion on Sustainable Design and Architecture, and the Art Industry's Evolution in Sustainability.

Sara Klomps
Sara has been with Zaha Hadid Architects for 25 years and had key roles on several major ZHA cultural, civic and infrastructure scheme projects throughout Europe and internationally. She relocated to HK in Nov 2017 to lead the prestigious ‘The Henderson” development.

Johnny Yu
Johnny leads the sustainability development of the Company and won the prestigious Business Leadership in Sustainability Award at the Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards 2022, organised by the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC).

Veronica Castillo
A seasoned European museum specialist, Veronica moved to Hong Kong to join the M+ project in 2012 and has been deeply involved in the development of WKCDA. Since 2018 she is the Deputy Director, Collection & Exhibitions of the museum, leading all activities related to the management and care of the collections, conservation and the delivery of the exhibitions and displays program. She is currently the Chair of the M+ Sustainability Steering Committee and a member of the WKCDA Sustainability Taskforce.

Damian Tang
Damian is the Asia-Pacific region past President of International Federation of Landscape Architects (2016-2020) and the past President of Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects (2009-2015). An industry leader in landscape architectures, Damian has made tremendous contribution to shaping Singapore’s public greenery and influencing landscape policy.

Betty Ng
Betty is a RIBA UK chartered and Registered Architect at The Netherlands. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong School of Architecture. Betty is the Project Director at COLLECTIVE designing for the new Christie’s APAC Headquarters at The Henderson.

Francis Belin
An auction industry leader specialized in art and luxury, Francis is based in Hong Kong, he has been President of Christie’s Asia Pacific since January 2019. In addition, he globally oversees Christie’s Asian and World Art departments, and Luxury department.
Sales in Asia in 2021 reached a staggering US$1 billion – the highest annual total for the region, and in the first half of 2023, Asia Pacific accounted for 26% of Christie’s global auction sales, up from 22% in the first half of 2022.

Sara Mao
Sara joined Christie's in 2008 as a Junior Specialist and currently oversees the development of educational programmes across Art and Luxury in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific. She has curated over ten seasons of auctions for some of the most iconic Chinese Modern paintings and important collections in the field.
