This fall Asian Art Week returns to New York to present a full slate of sales with works from across Asia. Nine live and online auctions comprise our lineup this season, featuring a large Southern Song-dynasty Longquan celadon kinuta vase from the collection of prominent dealer and collector Mineo Hata; Ming-dynasty porcelains from the sale Marchant: Eight Treasures for the Wanli Emperor; a finely carved archaistic Qianlong-period white-jade rhyton from the LJZ Collection; a rare 18th-century painting of Bhavaviveka from the collection of esteemed dealer Moke Mokotoff; a monumental painting by Maqbool Fida Husain from the Abrams Family Collection; masterpieces by Katsushika Hokusai and Toshusai Sharaku; and much more.

Guided tours of Asian Art Week
Please join us for guided tours of Asian Art Week galleries on the 15th and 18th of September. Robert D. Mowry, Christie’s senior consultant and the Alan J. Dworsky Curator of Chinese Art Emeritus at the Harvard Art Museums, will share his insights on the history and provenance behind this season’s collection of fascinating works.
