Building upon the phenomenal success of its inaugural display in Hong Kong this May, Christie’s and HomeArt are thrilled to announce that【Flesh and Soul: Bacon/Ghenie】will be exhibited at BOONTHESHOP – Cheongdam, from 3 to 5 September, marking the first joint Francis Bacon and Adrian Ghenie exhibition in South Korea. Free to the public, this groundbreaking showcase offers a rare opportunity for audiences to view, side-by-side, a selection of museum-quality masterpieces by the two iconic artists.
Coinciding with the debut of Frieze Seoul, and two major art fairs – Kiaf SEOUL & Kiaf PLUS, the exhibition will headline Seoul’s Art Week in September. This initiative demonstrates Christie’s ongoing commitment to the art scene in South Korea and stems from our wider mission to share the joy of art appreciation with the world.
