In 1920s Paris, at the Hôtel de Blumenthal, Graziella Patiño de Ortiz Linares assembled her collection with instinctive confidence and a discerning eye, guided throughout by exacting standards.

Driven by a deep passion for the French eighteenth century, she created a world of rare refinement in which paintings by Watteau and Fragonard were set alongside fine works of art and furniture, enriched by carefully selected pieces of silver.

Christie’s will present this collection through a series of exhibitions in New York, Hong Kong and London, ahead of a landmark sale in Paris on 23 September.
