The live sales will kick off on 23 September, with the 10th Shanghai Auction Anniversary: Luxury Evening Sale, featuring a selection of magnificent jewels from renowned maisons such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Harry Winston and Cartier, as well as a curated selection of limited edition Hermès handbags. Bridging East and West, the dynamically curated 10th Shanghai Auction Anniversary: 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale will follow, highlighting masterpieces by Chinese modern art masters Wu Dayu, Zao Wou-Ki, Chu Teh-Chun, Ju Ming and the iconic and fresh-to-the-market work Tête d'homme by Pablo Picasso. Also excited to present an autograph manuscript by the renowned scientist Albert Einstein. This marks the auction debut for this rare manuscript at Christie's Asia and represents the Classic Art category's inaugural appearance in mainland China. Alongside the two live sales, the 10th Shanghai Auction Anniversary: Kweichow Moutai Online will present an extensive array of fine and rare bottles, with bidding open from 15 to 26 September.
