The first with two-stage barrel retained by two iron bands and with long tang extending to the pommel, plain lock with brass-lined maker's mark, leather-covered stock, globular ivory pommel with iron lanyard-ring, and silver-covered button trigger; the second with engraved full stock of 'rat-tailed' form, and false ramrod (steel-spring missing)
