SIGNED SOSHU JYU TSUNAHIRO, 16TH CENTURY
Mitsumune, hirazukuri, with ken and dragon carved on the omote with the inscription Hachimandai Bosatsu on the ura, strong curve (saki-zori), forged with large and tight mokume and ko-nie, tempering hitatsura with an abundance of ko-nie, tang ubu, signed Soshu ju Tsunahiro, Muromachi period (16th century), 34.1cm., in shirasaya.
