The grey-veined white marble top above a waisted stiff-leaf frieze and two rampant griffin-supports, the back with rounded pilasters with lotus-leaf ends, on a concave-fronted and canted ebonised base with cut-out back, re-decorated and with traces of old gilding, losses to the decoration of the griffins
