MAKER TO THE ROYAL NAVY No. 2366, Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds dial (at XII), up-and-down dial (at VI), blued steel hands, main frame assembly carrying reversed fusee barrel and centre wheel pivot, circular sub-frame assembly carrying remainder of train and Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance with blued steel work, segmental heat compensation weights, blued steel helical balance spring, dovetail detent to side of banking block with jewelled locking stone, counter-weighted brass bowl numbered 2366, gimballed in plain three-tier mahogany box and external brass drop handles, the centre section with inset bone ivory disc inscribed BARRAUD 2366
