The coffee-pot with maker's mark of Eliza Godfrey, London, 1750, the stand and lamp, Edinburgh, 1868, maker's mark lacking
The pear-shaped coffee-pot on spreading circular foot and with leaf-capped curved spout, with ivory scroll handle and hinged domed cover with openwork foliage finial, the body chased with two rural vignettes within scrolls and applied foliage, engraved twice with crest and mottos beneath an Earl's coronet, the stand on three scroll feet and with detachable lamp, the coffee pot marked on base and cover and engraved with scratch weight 38=17, the stand marked on frame and lamp
