A pair of Hellenistic gold, garnet and enamelled bull-headed earrings
3rd-2nd Century B.C.
Each with tapering twisted gold wire hoop terminating in a bull's head with short curving horns crowned by a garnet tear-shaped headdress, the bull with white enamelled eyes and blue pupils, emerging from a filigree collar, the base of which is divided into triangular-shaped segments inlaid with alternating white and blue enamel (some missing)
