A pair of Roman gold and glass pendant earrings
3rd Century A.D.
Each with tapering wire hoop mounted with a disc decorated with granules around its border and a central glass bead, from the crossbar below hang twin tubular pendants with side spheres decorated with granulated rosettes, terminating in an iridescent cylindrical glass bead; and another pair, each with domed shield with central 'nipple', a tubular pendant below with diagonal granulated ribbing, terminating in a gold sphere with granule pyramid
