The winged child wearing a mantle secured by a clasp, with right arm raised in combat with a lion which is also being fought by a hound on its back, traces of colouring, mounted

Provenance
An ink inscribed label on the reverse reads "Bacchus et lion - de Myrrhina - fouilles de l'Ecole Française d'Athènes ... 1883".
