A SCULPTURE OF AMIDA IN A LACQUER SHRINE

The gilt lacquered wood sectional Amida Nyorai, seated on a stepped lotus base, encased in a rectangular upright shrine lacquered on the exterior in roironuri and fitted with carved brass fittings decorated with aoi mon, the interior base panel decorated in high relief with a tiger and a figure, the upper part similarly decorated with a ho-o bird supported by two pillars carved with hanabishi patterns, (some wear)
