TWO CLEAR CUT-GLASS GOLD-MOUNTED SCENT-BOTTLES
Mid-19th Century, probably French, the first with maker's mark JL
The first of tapering shouldered form, the quatrefoil lobed domed hinged cover and mount enamelled in colours with flower-sprays, 4¼ in. (10.9 cm.) high; the second of rectangular form, with clear glass stopper, the hinged cover with draped female figure finial, the circumference studded with cherub's heads joined by chains, 3 7/8 in. (9.8 cm.) high; the first with slight damage to enamels, both with minute rim chips (2)
