TWO BOXES AND COVERS AND TWO MINIATURE SCENT-BOTTLES
The first box probably Paris circa 1760, with maker's mark for 'Pierre-Nicolas Prevost', charge and decharge marks for Eloy Brichard, the others second half of the 19th Century
The first a green glass circular box with gold mounts and hinged cover, 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) diam.; the second a papier mache box with clear glass base and cover set with beads and seed-pearls with the inscription 'A l'amitié', 2½ in. (6.5 cm.) diam.; the third a miniature faceted green glass globular scent-bottle and stopper, with gold mounts and hinged cover, 7/8 in. (2.2 cm.) high; the last a miniature scent-bottle overlaid in pink and white and cut with foliage, with hinged silver cover and mounts, the mounts detached and the neck of the bottle broken 1 in. (2.5 cm.) (4)
