A GROUP OF NINE BAMBOO CARVINGS

Comprising one of tall triangular form, carved and pierced with two long-tailed birds perched on a gnarled prunus branch above exotic plants issuing from rockwork, fixed wood stand; a pair of Immortals, Shoulao and Xi Wang Mu, seated astride deer; a group of two boys wrestling on the back of a water-buffalo; a similar group with two boys holding a large vessel on the back of an elephant; a sampan with numerous small figures, carved wood stand; a standing luohan holding a begging bowl and a whisk, of light honey tone, wood stand; and a finely patinated standing figure of a monk holding his hands together in prayer, sampan with some damage, others with some minor damage
