unmarked, circa 1740
Old English pattern and with circular bowl, the bowl pierced and engraved on both sides with the cypher WHC with Duke's coronet above, within a border of latticework, the handle flat-chased with feather and foliage decoration, the reverse engraved with a crest with Duke's coronet above, unmarked, the handle engraved with scratchweight '3=15'

The monogram is that possibly that of William, 2nd Duke of Cleveland (d.1774) and his wife, Lady Henrietta, daughter of Daniel, 7th Earl of Winchelsea (d.1729).
