A WELL-CARVED YELLOW JADE VASE AND INCENSE BURNER GROUP
17TH/18TH CENTURY

Thinly carved as a quadrilobed zun with a chilong pulling itself up onto the rim on one side, standing beside a tripod incense burner with scroll decoration carved on the sides and with angular strap handles, the domed cover pierced with a band of scrolls below a bud finial, raised on a rectangular stand with a deer-like beast grasping a sprig of lingzhi in its mouth seated to one side, the semi-translucent stone of even color with two patches of pale brown coloring on one side, minor rim chips
