The rectangular inro decorated in iro-e takamaki-e and inlaid in mother-of-pearl and aogai with Moso, one of the Twenty-four paragons of filial piety, returning through deep snow with harvested bamboo shoots strapped to his back, on a roiro ground applied with gold and silver hirame, the reverse decorated with snow-laden bamboo in togidashi and with a matching ground, nashiji interiors and soft-metal ojime--3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) high
