Two of circular shape, decorated in gold takamaki-e on a gold ground with a bough of fruiting peach and decorated with a gold beetle in takamaki-e on a roiro-nuri ground, silver rims, and one of oval shape decorated in hiramaki-e, togidashi and takamaki-e with gold butterflies on an open chrysanthemum blossom, two of the insects inlaid in aogai, the interiors of all three boxes nashiji--2½ and 3 1/8 and 3½in.
