A THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, maker's mark of Frederick Marquand, New York, circa 1830, comprising teapot, two handled covered sugar basin and cream jug, each molded urn form, on molded oval base, engraved with script initials, applied with lush foliate scroll and stylized floral band to base, shoulder and rim, the teapot with multi scoll handle, partly panelled, leaf capped swan's neck spout, the hinged partly domed cover chased with acanthus calyx and topped by baluster floral cluster finial--teapot 10in. (25.4cm.) high, gross weight 76oz. (3)
