A HUANGHUALI AND SERPENTINE TABLE STAND, XIAOAN
17TH CENTURY

The green serpentine, upper panel with evocative swirling patterns and striations set within a huanghuali frame terminating in large everted flanges continuous with the frame above a plain apron and hooked cloud spandrels, supported on flared legs, each pair with indented corner molding and framing a pierced panel containing a large cloud collar
