Of rounded rectangular shape inlaid in aogai with two hydrangea blossoms on gold leaves and a butterfly rendered in takamaki-e on a kinji ground, the leaves continued to two sides of the box, decorated on the interior with gold lotus buds and leaves on a kinji ground dusted with kimpun--3¾ x 3 x 1¼in. (9.5 x 7.7 x 3.3cm.)
