The single case inro of rectangular shape cast in silver with a stippled nunome-type surface and inlaid in soft metal with a male and female immortal on either side; fitted with a silver netsuke cast as a snail shell above a section of coral used to represent the body of the snail, also fitted with an ivory ojime carved as an oni--2¾in. (7cm.) high
