THREE METAL SHEATH INRO

The first with gilt metal sheath cast with the god Aridoshi as a shrine attendant holding a lantern, and a torii on the other, enclosing a black lacquer inro, interior cases in nashiji, with a cinnabar lacquer netsuke carved as a stand; the second with a gilt metal sheath incised with two Manchurian archers, enclosing the four-case inro of black lacquer with interior cases in nashiji, fitted with a a soft metal netsuke representing an Okame mask and a leather pouch; the third with Fukurokuju riding a giant crane, and a stag with Fukurokuju's fan on the reverse, a single metal case sliding from the bottom, fitted with a cylindrical soft metal ojime and a silvered metal manju netsuke--2 3/8, 2½, 3 3/8in. (5.9, 6.4, 8.5cm.) high, surface nicks and wear (3)
