The head carved in shallow relief with a bat in flight above a fruiting peach branch and lingzhi sprigs issuing from rockwork, the arched handle with bamboo, blossoming peony and narcissus on the front and bats amid clouds on the concave reverse, the stone of even celadon tone with some opaque white mottling and added russet colouring
