Coupang, Timor

Flinders took the Investigator to Timor in early 1803 to re-supply after his survey of the north-east coast of Australia. He then returned to Sydney by way of the Great Australian Bight and Bass Strait, thereby completing the first circumnavigation of the Australian continent.
