The hood with stepped flat top, with pointed arch trunk door to the narrow trunk, on plain plinth (losses to skirting), the 9¾in. (25cm.) square brass dial with cherub and foliate spandrels to chapter ring signed W. Morgan Hereford, with matted centre, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; associated; dial mid 18th century, movement 20th century, case probably 19th century
