The case with brass handle to inverted bell top, glazed side panels below circular frets to the sides, with quarter frets to the front door, on shallow block feet, the brass dial with mask and foliate spandrels, silvered chapter ring, the matted centre with mock pendulum and date apertures, with rings to the arch for pendulum rise and fall and strike/silent, each with engraved centre, with silvered plaque above signed Henry Fish Royal Exchange LONDON, the twin wire fusee movement with re-converted verge escapement and strike on bell, with holdfast to the foliate scroll engraved backplate
